Delivery and Returns (to be read in conjunction with the Terms & Conditions):

There is one standard delivery charge of £4.35 (excl VAT),  for mainland UK (Northern Ireland, The Channel, Shetland and Orkney Islands) customers. The formal delivery time is 3 working days (that does not include bank holidays and weekends), although we expect most deliveries to reach mainland UK and Northern Ireland customers within 1-2 working days. Deliveries to remote areas (Orkney, Corrour, Mallaig, Eigg & Muck, Isle of Rum & Canna) may experience slight delays. At present we cannot offer a next day delivery service. We utilise either The Royal Mail or My Heres. All postal and delivery standards are as per The Royal Mail, www.royalmail.com and include their difficulty of access and staff safety considerations.

This delivery charge is for a maximum of three garments. More than this will mean a second order and delivery charge - see below.

We send all packages by special delivery which means you, or a trusted family member or friend, must be available to sign for it. The parcels are also too large for most letter boxes. If you are unavailable, normally a card will be put through your door for you to collect from a local sorting office. Please do not order if this arrangement is unsuitable for you.

Please note, for your added security, the first order will only be sent to the payment address. Subsequent orders can be sent elsewhere. We cannot deliver to P.O. box addresses and all items in one order must be delivered to the same address, or additional charges will apply. Isle of Man customers will be classified as UK for such purposes.

Europe (incl Channel Islands):

The postage cost is £5.95 (equivalent). Parcels are sent by Royal Mail air mail and should arrive with 7-10 working days.

Rest of the World:

For the U.S., Canada and other non European countries we will deliver by airmail. The cost being £7.95 (equivalent). Parcels are sent by Royal Mail Air Mail service. Delivery should be in 10-15 working days. If you live outside of the EU, local customs, tax or charges may be applied when the parcel reaches your country. We have no control over these charges so we cannot state what they will be, if anything.
If you are returning the goods, please mark the parcel in bold capitals as RETURNED GOODS.

Import Duties / Local taxes:

UK Tax law requires us to add 20% VAT (sales tax) to all dispatches to non VAT registered EU customers. If you are VAT (sales tax) registered and wish to be zero rated, then you need to provide your VAT registration reference and country code. VAT = (IVA - Italia / Espana; TVA - France / Belgique; USt - Deutschland; MwSt - Ostereich; BTW - Nederland; MOMS - Sverige / Danmark, MVA - Norge).

Exports to NON EU countries: VAT is a tax charged on goods used in the EU so if goods are exported outside the EU, VAT is not charged. Please note the goods must be sent abroad by Bounteous. We cannot send them to a UK or EU address for forwarding, or pick up.

The Channel Islands / Gibraltar / Canary Islands  - no VAT.

Delivery Cost per order:

Please note, you only pay one postage cost per order (providing it is the same address), even if we send the order in more than one parcel. There is a maximum order of 3 items per delivery. Free postage:

Some customers have asked about free postage. We have thought long and hard about this but the costs would have to be absorbed elsewhere (which means the garment price), we just think it is better to be transparent and up front, if you will pardon the pun. We will however post Exchange items to you for no charge.

Failed deliveries:

In normal circumstances, the Royal Mail (or courier) will leave a card at your delivery address stating that they failed to deliver the package for one of a number of reasons. You will normally have to arrange to collect the package from your local Royal Mail (or Courier) sorting office. If you fail to do this, the Royal Mail / courier will return the package to us.

If you believe the order is very late in arriving, please email us at customercare@bounteous.co.uk quoting your order number and details. Please note an order with more than one item may be sent in separate packages which may arrive at different times.

If you live in the UK, under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have the right to cancel your order with us, provided you give us written notice within 7 working days of receipt. Returns Policy:

The law, Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations provides you a 7 day timeframe to cancel your order. You must formally inform us of your wish to cancel in writing, by either letter or email, within the period of 7 working days. In the meantime you must take good care of the goods and not use them. You must then return the goods to us. We will refund you the garment cost and the original postage cost but not the cost of the Returns postage. Alternatively you can 'exchange' the item - see below.

All our garments are made with an unrivalled attention to detail but if you are not entirely satisfied with the item, for whatever reason, you can return it to us for a refund or an exchange, at any time within 7 working days of your order. That means if it does not fit, or if you simply do not like it. However, the garment must be returned in the original condition, (with no stretches, tears, stains, marks or cuts; the labels and tags must also be intact and attached as per the original condition) and the Returns form completed properly.

Bounteous Limited reserves the right to refuse a refund if the returned goods are not in the original condition. There is a Returns form attached to your delivery paperwork, or you can print another here (link), or email us for one. Please note that the delivered goods are your property and responsibility until received back by us, so please pack securely and send in the original protective packaging material and consider insuring for the value of the goods. Please keep the certificate / proof of postage receipt as evidence.

If returning the goods from overseas, please clearly mark the parcel as RETURNED GOODS. Please only use a standard airmail service.

Exchanges - What happens if the item I want to exchange for is cheaper or more expensive?

We keep it fair and simple. We will refund the price difference if you choose a lower priced item but will require extra payment to match the price of a more expensive one. We will ship any Exchange item with no additional delivery charge..

Faulty goods:

If the goods sent are incorrect or (we deem them) genuinely faulty, we will offer a free replacement and there will be no delivery charge. We will also refund the Returns postage cost as shown on the returned package.

Exchanges or Returns postage costs:

We will refund the garment cost and your original postage but not the cost of return.

It is a bit like free postage comments above, the companies that do offer free returns absorb the costs in other areas, normally their garment prices and we would rather not do that, so we have decided to keep things as transparent as possible by letting you know from the offset that it is our policy not to pay for the postage cost of returns. However, once we have received an item back from you for exchange, we will post the exchange / replacement item for no additional postage charge.

How long will it take to process my returns credit?

We can give no absolute guarantee but try to process returns as quickly as possible, it will usually be 10 – 20 days. For the purposes of money laundering and fraud protection we have been advised that monies can only be returned to the card on which the original payment was drawn.

Cancelling / Changing an Order:

If you make an error when ordering, please email us as soon as possible. We pride ourselves on the speed with which we expedite orders and we may well have processed and despatched the order however if you make an error on the order, please email us as soon as possible at Customercare@bounteous.co.uk and we will attempt to stop the order. Unfortunately if the order has been despatched, you will have to follow the returns procedure (above).

Contract cancellation:

You can cancel this contract if you so wish, provided that you exercise your right to do so within seven working days after the day on which you receive the products. If you wish to cancel your order, please follow the Returns procedure.
